submission to the authorities

something unexpected happened at the workplace today that i do not fancy to recall and rephrase. safe to say that it wasnt a good episode where it almost took away the energy in me cos my easy heart doesnt use to such antics. venting in foul words with misplaced grammar sent pity and ticklish to my bone over the ‘rager’. usually i will vent them in anger and somewhat emo here but this time i decided to turn the leaf around looking at it in a positive way. my time is too valueable to rant about such ridiculous scene. takda hasil!!

after the whole thing, today i finally internalised the meaning of ‘submission to authorities’ even though i nearly toss away my respects toward these kind of ppl out of the window. just like a boomerang it returns back to me simply because i am aware that there are these kind of ppl exist in this world and however we despise them when they are ranked above us we still need to respect them. years ago i might hold grudges so long that i wish silent thought can kill or hope they turn into a fly so that they only eat shit for the rest of their life or sumpahseranah them so that they wont have a descendant forever. but now that i’ve learned what i’ve learned. ppl can change cos homo sapien is indeed a funny thing! and for a commercial break, that’s what Impact Camp did to u :p

today these verses have come to a good use in a form of self-slap! I mean reflection….

Rm 13:1-2 ‘everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement to themselves’ (Kuang! Kuang! Kuang!)

Heb 13:17 ‘Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, FOR THAT WOULD BE OF NO ADVANTAGE TO YOU’ (alamak!)

so do you have any feud / misunderstanding / disrespect / rebel towards your ‘authorities’? authorities here can be referred as ur country leaders, ur bosses, ur parents, teachers, group leaders, a bus driver….. whoever is in-charge or above u, is established by God. aha! siapa berani lawan? so anyhow we must obey and respect them.

it may be difficult to gulp. i doubt i can but i am assimilating bit by bit…..
